Description
Participants are invited to join Campus Ministry and Resident Ministry in worshiping God in the Roman Catholic tradition at Los Angeles’ Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. The newest of America’s Catholic cathedrals is one of the architectural gems of our city, and it has been an anchor in the revival of LA’s downtown. In addition it aims at being “a model Church for all parish churches in the style and content of its liturgical celebrations.” This visit to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels will include attendance at the noontime Mass and a tour of the Cathedral, including the crypt mausoleum. The day will conclude with lunch and reflection on the experience.
