American Education Goes to Korea: Sogang University's Early Years 1960 - 1970

    John P. Daly S.J.

Through the eyes of John P. Daly, S.J., this film examines Sogang University’s early history and reflects on how the American education system was enculturated in the Korean context. Father Daly served as president of Sogang from 1963 to 1975 and as superior of the Jesuits assigned there from 1963 to 1973. Father Daly was the founder of the Center for Asian Business and instrumental in the growth of the College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University.
