Since the digital era has begun, we have seen a lot of changes to the stock market. Individuals of all walks of life now how the ability to make trades from the comfort of their mobile device. Accessibility to the stock market has definitely increased and on surface it appears that this new accessibility will also bring forth the diversification of traders within the market. We will explore to what extent digitalization have changed the demographics of investors and if increased accessibility is merely enough to make the stock market an equitable environment where all individuals have the chance to succeed and make a profit.
