Abstract

"Strangers" is the story of a couple and the stranger they decide to pick up during a trip across California. John and Diane - a dysfunctional couple on the brink of falling apart - are on their way back to LA when they almost hit Cliff - an enigmatic man with a bicycle and a limp looking to catch a ride. When Diane insists that they bring him along against John's will, the three passengers find themselves stuck with each other for longer than pleasant conversations can carry them.
