On September 14, 2017, at 5:30 p.m., the William H. Hannon Library celebrated the opening of our Fall 2017 Archives and Special Collections exhibition, “Tales of Mystery and Imagination” and the launch of the Academy of Catholic Thought and Imagination’s yearlong theme of “The Idea of a Catholic University in the 21st Century.”

Brian Treanor introduced the Academy of Catholic Thought and Imagination’s yearlong theme of “The Idea of a Catholic University in the 21st Century,” as well as the role of mystery in university education. Student curator Alison Hobbs spoke about her exhibition for the William H. Hannon Library’s Department of Archives and Special Collections, “Tales of Mystery and Imagination.” A reception followed.
