Description

The Wolves Return is a film about silence: what communities bury, and what happens when the earth gives it back.

A conversation with Stelios Moraitidis, writer and director of The Wolves Return (2025, 20 min), winner of the inaugural LMU Prize for Social Justice for Best Fiction Short Film, presented at the 20th Los Angeles Greek Film Festival on May 31, 2026. Awarded and funded by the Department of Classics & Archaeology, Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Moraitidis could not attend the ceremony in Los Angeles, so Professor Katerina Zacharia presented the award to him in Athens.

Anapnoe is a series of long-form conversations with leading figures in Greek arts, humanities, and religious culture.
