Description
This talk addressed how the role of large-scale urban free clinic events evolved as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act takes full effect. Speakers presented a profile of one of the largest free clinic events in the country, held in Los Angeles, September 2012, and how this and other fully dimensioned clinic events - combining on-site care with extensive prevention and follow-up resources - can be developed to uniquely support the ACA in 2014.
