Description
Healthcare is rapidly changing, most notably shifting toward a wellness model. The Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange and St. Joseph Health are at the forefront of this shift in designing a model around "healthiest communities." Panel members reflected on (1) an overview of the wellness model, (2) how local communities are supporting grass-root programs for wellness, (3) our global neighbor and healthcare needs, and (4) what is next in terms of emerging trends for wellness and nurturing healthiest communities. A moderator and student panelist engaged the group in expanding this discussion. Panelist members included Darrin Montalvo, Barry Ross, Annette Walker, and Herlinda Ramirez-Machado, CSJ.
