Conversation with Luis Rodriguez
In celebration of Banned Books Week (9/25-10/1), Latino Heritage Month (9/15-10/15), and in collaboration with the College of Communication and Fine Arts' KaleidoLA speaker series, Los Angeles Poet Laureate and Urban Peace Activist Luis Rodríguez joined us on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 (5:30-7:00pm) in the William H. Hannon Library's Von der Ahe Suite (3rd floor) for a conversation on the censorship of creative work and the challenges that he has faced as an author and artist whose work has been challenged in the public sphere. This event was sponsored by the William H. Hannon Library, the Department of Art & Art History, the English Department, and the Chicana/o Studies Department.
