Abstract
80% of Home Invasions Happen During the Day revolves around a troubled teenage girl who one day drinks a tea that causes her to hallucinate. During her trip, she sees visions of a killer and other horrific things that questions her sanity as a reliable narrator. Her well-meaning parents don't know what to do with their, what they believe to be, rebellious daughter as their philosophies conflict. The mother wants to a strict approach to raising their daughter, while the father prefers a more hands off approach. In the end, the daughter's hallucinations were not all fake. A serial killer did indeed enter their house and murder everyone in broad daylight.
