Abstract
The unemployment situation is an important issue in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that has been increasing since 2011. One major contributor to its high rate is the fact students are unable to find work. The lack of their success can be attributed to their job search methods, many of which rely on social networks. This practice disadvantages graduates from abroad who have not developed their local networks as domestic graduates have. Because governmental policies have incentivized students to travel abroad, the government has a responsibility to address the growing problem of unemployment. One solution is to provide an effective way for unemployed persons to search for jobs with a high rate of success, like offering an Online Government Employment System.
