Abstract
This paper aims to study the average waiting time spent by travelers at the LAX airport by examining the airport's CBP Immigration process and other waiting lines. The CBP Immigration waiting line is the most congested waiting line at LAX simply because this airport deals with a high volume of travelers; thus, it's one of the most busiest airports in the world. Accordingly, LAX would need to consider new ways in managing a high volume of travelers, and this paper seeks to present new systems and technology that would provide new solutions through a systems engineering perspective.
