Abstract
The unpredictability of life is here seen through the eyes of a child. At the young age of 6, Daniela Ramirez narrates a day in her childhood home, found in the historic neighborhood in Central Los Angeles: Pico-Union. Ramirez’s narrative recounts the emotions and events that unfolded right before her eyes on the day that changed her and her family’s life forever on Union Ave.
