The Academic Resource Center at Loyola Marymount University provides academic support for all LMU students. Our office sponsors an annual writing contest for students enrolled in the ARC one-unit writing lab, as well as a spring writing workshop where first-generation college students work with a faculty or staff mentor to compose and present their personal narratives. The ARC Digital Commons supports our center’s mission of promoting engaged academic citizenship by providing students with the opportunity to publish their written work after revision with their peers and our professional staff.
