Description
Abstract:
This proposal details a request for funding to support an in-depth literature review of economic ethics, poverty analyses, universal basic income (UBI), and published research on any ongoing UBI experiments. The review will support an investigation of the efficacy of anti-poverty programs, such as basic incomes, in addressing inequalities in positive freedom and economic compulsion. The study focuses on implementations of basic income policies, focusing on differences that lead to new forms of restrictions or momentously change living conditions. The projected analysis time span is eight weeks. Upon completion results will be summarized in an essay.
