Description
The Department of Classics and Archaeology collections at Loyola Marymount University houses over a hundred Civil War era artifacts. These artifacts deserve to be put on display in a first class exhibition to give insight into the lives of everyday Americans during the Civil War. By combining hands-on experiences with the artifacts, expert testimonies and presentations on their contexts, and student work we can create an interdisciplinary experience to examine the Pride of the average American and set the Precedence for examining the daily lives of ordinary people to truly understand the impact and importance of moments in history.
