Abstract
This project aimed to design an FSAE suspension system for LMU’s new FSAE team. The system included wheel hubs, knuckles, control arms, and a pushrod system. The system was modeled in Solidworks CAD, then tested with FEA analysis based off of equations drawn from a paper investigating wheel hub FEA testing. The system was built in the school garage as well as outsourced to outside manufacturers. The system was completed and taken to the FSAE competition in Brooklyn, Michigan.
