This oral history of Raul Mijares, recorded on June 27, 2023, discusses their personal journey navigating identity and spirituality in higher education, involvement in the Chicano Movement, athletics program, and the decision to discontinue football at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), and their role in creating scholarship programs. At the time of this interview, Raul was 70 years old, identified as Anahuacan, and resided in Castaic, California.
