The Human Performance Laboratory provides the campus and local community with the benefits of state-of–the-art research testing facilities for the purpose of health, fitness, and performance testing. The Human Performance Laboratory (HPL), located in East Hall room 102, is part of the Department of Health and Human Sciences. Experts use equipment in the lab to perform a variety of cardiopulmonary, metabolic, anthropometric, and strength assessments, providing an important avenue for community service in exercise science and wellness that includes health promotion, disease prevention, optimal performance, and injury prevention.
