Abstract
OER work can stall not because OER advocates lack commitment, but because they lack reusable tools that help connect advocacy, faculty storytelling, student engagement, and institutional support. This session gives a sneak peak of the Growing Your OER Program: A Marketing and Advocacy Toolkit, an openly licensed resource developed to help campuses sustainably expand the reach of open education with adaptable material. The interinstitutional team of librarians, an instructional designer, and student graphic designer will share how they are developing marketing tools, like posters and social media posts to shine a light on OER programs.
