Description

Jessea (pronounced like Jessie) is a scholarly communications librarian. After running out of shows to watch on Netflix, she applied to and was accepted into UCLA's Asian American Studies graduate program. Now, she has an MA in Asian American Studies in addition to her MLIS from Simmons College. Besides chitchatting about all things scholarly communications and the impact of the internet on identity and race, she is interested in organizational behavior in academia. Outside of the library world, she can be found dragon boating in Long Beach or eating ice cream or string cheese with her dog, Neville.
