Abstract
It has also been forty years since the death of Thomas Merton, surely one of the great spiritual teachers of the past century. Thomas P. Rausch, SJ summarizes for us Merton’s spiritual journey as influenced by Eastern thought and mysticism. Interreligious dialogue/friendship/understanding remains a major task.
