Abstract
Marina Babigian’s argumentative essay describes the impact Robert Bergman’s book of photographs and Toni Morrison’s Introduction to the book has on readers. Marina asserts that the book and its introduction are intended to remind readers that they do not have context behind every person they interact with in daily life, and that readers should stop themselves from making assumptions about strangers. This paper was written in Alexandra Neel’s First Year Seminar Class: Graphic Stories, fall 2015.
